    After updating to version 2.1.3, I can’t find the “logs” directory.  Does it means it doesn’t use logs anymore?  May be I should create it by hand?  Where?

    Hi Ñuño,

    You can enable logs by opening up system/expressionengine/config/config.php and editing this section

    /*
    |--------------------------------------------------------------------------
    | Error Logging Threshold
    |--------------------------------------------------------------------------
    |
    | If you have enabled error logging, you can set an error threshold to
    | determine what gets logged. Threshold options are:
    |
    | 0 = Disables logging, Error logging TURNED OFF
    | 1 = Error Messages (including PHP errors)
    |    2 = Debug Messages
    |    3 = Informational Messages
    |    4 = All Messages
    |
    | For a live site you'll usually only enable Errors (1) to be logged otherwise
    | your log files will fill up very fast.
    |
    */
    $config['log_threshold'] = 0;

    /*
    |--------------------------------------------------------------------------
    | Error Logging Directory Path
    |--------------------------------------------------------------------------
    |
    | Leave this BLANK unless you would like to set something other than the default
    | system/logs/ folder. Use a full server path with trailing slash.
    |
    */
    $config['log_path'] = '';

    Does that help?

    Does that help?

    Yes it does.  I didn’t revised the configuration file (my fault :oops:).

    The problem is that the directory doesn’t exist and I didn’t knew where it should be created.  Our config file includes the full “log_path” so I can create it and see if it works.

    Thanks.

    Ñuño,

    No problems. Also if you leave log_path blank it will create the system/logs folder for you.

    Are you happy with me to close this one out or do you wish to further test it?
