    I kept searching for a forum post but could not find anything related. Basically, I have one EE 1.6.8-powered website running properly at http://www.gmmdl.com on an engine hosting platform (great as usual).

    However, the same site only renders partially on Yahoo Business Hosting ( http://gmmdl.com.p4.hostingprod.com/ ), has anybody met that issue before? If yes, do you know how to fix it?

    When I try to log in my admin interface, I do get the main login screen, but the next page after the submit renders a white page with no code.

    I find strange that some fragments of the main homepage are rendered (templates it seems), while others are not (weblog entries).

    I ran the php wizard: all the required server functions are supported, and the DB connects properly?!?? Could anybody give me pointers as to what to look for?

    Stephan,

    A blank page usually indicates a suppressed error. Can you get some error reporting going?

    EE Wiki : HowTo Turn on Error Reporting

    Was this a migration of that site to Yahoo Business Hosting?

    Check all your paths including the Basepath for template files if you are saving them as files.

    Also manually clear your cache by deleting all the folders in system/cache except for index.html

    John,

    Thanks for the quick reply. I initially tried to develop the site in the Yahoo hosting environment, and immediately had issues. Eventually, I developed the site on my test server at engine hosting, now my client wants the site back to Yahoo. I currently get several errors as shown below. The problem is that I can’t login to deactivate the extensions, since I don’t have access to the CP! I tried removing the actual files, but ext.lg_social_bookmarks_ext.php prevents the CP or the site from loading if not present…Is there any way to manually deactivate extensions?

    Stephan, you can manually edit your config.php file to change the value of:

    $conf['allow_extensions'] = "n";

    Does that help?

    Ah, Thank you! Everything is now working properly without extensions. I’ll try to reactivate the extensions one by one to see which one is causing troubles on the Yahoo server, if any.

    Thanks again, John and Sue.
