Yes, this is the point at which you can tell me it’s already been done.

The closest existing plugin is probably browser sniff.  Depends on what yours will do .

Well, you’re right, mine pretty much does the same thing.  I searched for a plugin first but honestly it was likely faster for me to write my own than to continue searching.  If anyone is interested it’s here.
