I got a pos software that I want to create a web based pos software, I was told that Code Igniter would be a good option but I am still a bit confused about it. Can anyone say whether Code Igniter would be right for the project?

I think, actually CI can build a POS Software, but in connecting with hardware, such as a cash drawer can open automatically after we input a transaction and costumer display can view price are something you pay attention more, because i think, we need C language for connecting with Hardware.
