Wondering if this is possible with EE

Would it be possible to have a homepage like http://www.fmylife.com/ (best example i could find) where users can submit a block of text that appears one the homepage, after moderation of an administrator? The homepage would also need pagination for all the topics posted by the users.

And lastly, like on fmylife.com, if you go over to “submit your FML” there is a drop down form that appears on the SAME page without taking the user to another page to submit his or her topic/post, Not sure if it uses Javascript or ajax? Is this possible?

Thanks in advance!

Hello osjoe2,

Thank you for posting your question here on the ExpressionEngine forums!

Yes on both counts! The thing to keep in mind is that ExpressionEngine is not bound by content, in a real sense ExpressionEngine is a CMS that just presents what you tell it to. If you can code it, they will ... err then it’s possible. Using Safecracker, a channel for entries, and some scripting for your on page selection, you should have no problem!

Is there anything else I can help with?

Cheers,
