Hi There,
In the backend when an author is logged in and editing an entry, how do I go about hiding specific categories from a specific member group that the logged in author belongs to?

I don’t wish to hide category groups but rather individual categories.

I’m not worried about showing hiding anything on the frontend as everything is public.

I’m using ExpressionEngine version 2.5.2

I don’t believe you can do that in the control panel itself (unless there’s an add-on I’m not thinking of), but you COULD accomplish this if management of the entries was being handled in a Safecracker form - you could then use regular EE conditionals and/or entries loop parameters to withhold availability of specific categories.
