Hello,

I’m wondering how other EE users set up their content posting workflow between EE and social media platforms. In my case, I find that it’s so much easier to write once in HootSuite and publish to many different social media networks. And because EE doesn’t fit into this workflow I’m neglecting posting to my website more than is healthy.

Does anyone else experience this conundrum ... and if so ... how do you make sure that your EE site content doesn’t get neglected?

Thanks.

Ramone

When you persevere in something in which you have a natural aptitude, the result is excellence. When you persevere in something that does not come naturally, the result is success.

I haven’t used HootSuite in about 2 years, but when I did, I could post something on my EE site, and via auto-pings or rss HootSuite would pick it up and automatically tweet, post, share the article (and link to the full post on my ee site) automatically.

I don’t typically tweet the same types of things I write articles about though, under 140 characters, twitter’s the spot, 650 words that’s a blog post with a short intro and link back on twitter.

If you use many social networks which you are not able to easily manage then Hootsuite is a good tool for managing social media campaigns like Facebook, Twitter and much more. If you are going with the premium plan then you can add multiple accounts of Facebook and Twitter and post updates, you can even check the visits you have been getting using hootduite short URL. Hope this will help you, let me know if you have anymore queries.
