CAN EE SUPPORT MASS MULTI IMAGE UPLOADING UNDER 2 CATEGORIES???

if use EE will i be able to a a category with a sub category and under the sub category create an event where i can upload mass amount of images??

Hi jareddonkin,

In the general terms you’ve laid out, yes, EE is certainly capable of handling that sort of thing. EE’s incredibly flexible in terms of the data you can store and how you structure it.

Perhaps you could provide a bit more context for what you’re trying to achieve. I’d love to be able to give you a fuller answer. Could you provide some examples?

From what I can tell by looking at the site, it looks like EE would easily be able to handle this.

For example, you would probably set up “Events” as a channel, create a category group for events and assign it to the Events channel, and add the necessary fields to the Events channel. EE can handle image uploads natively, but I’d also recommend looking into something like Channel Images for large (and unpredictable) numbers of images in a single channel entry.

Have you had a chance to look at this getting started video yet? It provides a great intro into using EE.
