I was not aware until now that the iExpression app existed.  Looks very cool but it was last updated last year, and the developer site seems dead.

My obvious first guess is that they are out of business.  If so, does anyone have any info on what will happen to the app?

I’ve been pretty happy with Blogsy for the ipad, but they are Wordpress focused and the developer has no intention of spending much time on EE support since it is so small for his app.

Someone should take up the cause, it seems like a no brainer to me to create this kind of app for EE while of course also able to be of more general use with basic APIs.

Anyway, want to get it but only if it’s going to be supported.

I think they are very much alive - the latest entry in their blog is Thursday, July 05, 2012, where they talk about the latest developments.

I have installed V1.4.1 for a client and it has run without complaints since last September.

I had the RWE app loaded on a 1x site, and unfortunately it didn’t play well with Matrix fields (even if you only edited the content in the other fields all Matrix content got deleted).

I never heard they surmounted that issue, so the app was relegated to my junkpile.

Get the missing EE2 owner’s manual - a complete guide to building an EE2 site.  It’s available in PDF or print.

Interesting, when I checked last there was literally no site at all.  Now it’s back.  In the meantime I’ve been getting by with Blogsy for ipad, and recently got back into Marsedit on the mac.  It works great, but now I’m curious about the mac version of iExpression.  Ugh, I only have so much time and money to devote to all this.
