Hi there, this week we (@ninefour) wrote a small plug-in for EE2 to return entry IDs ‘by letter’. For example if you wanted to show all entries begining with the letters ‘A, B or C’ this plug-in would return the relevant entry IDs for passing into a channel:entries loop.

As we didn’t find anything else out there to handle this task hopefully someone else will find it useful, until @Low adds ‘grouping by letter’ to Low Alphabet of course.

It’s been live for a little while now but haven’t gotten around to mentioning it yet, redesigned Clipper Motoryachts and upgraded it to EE2.4 in the process (was on 1.6).

New Fieldtype: MX Select Plus This add-on makes long, unwieldy select boxes much more user-friendly with Chosen plugin. New Fieldtype: MX Lone Star is small fieldtype which you can use to replace standard checkbox. But the real power of this fieldtypes is opened in Matrix-like fields - you can limited choosing in this fieldtype per row or/and per column. EE ProNetwork Charter Member Boyink Interactive celebrates it’s first decade in business this week!

I released Zenbu Tag Formatting, an extension for the Zenbu add-on that modifies how tags from the Solspace Tag module are displayed in Zenbu columns.

Wyvern Video was released last week actually. Still in beta, hope to have a 1.0 release in a week or two. It is a robust YouTube and Vimeo add-on that integrates with all the popular WYSIWYG editors, including the new default Rich Text Editor, and acts as a stand-alone field.
