I am running 2.3.1 with MSM running in both Firefox and Chrome. I have been working all day in both sites and suddenly i cannot log into my main site with my admin login. I can get in to the other site just fine. If i try to login to my other site and try to switch over nothing happens. However, in IE9 i can login to both just fine. Very odd.
Things i changed just before I noticed. I was messing around with the control session type. It was originally set at Sessions only. I then switched it to Cookies only. Noticed i couldn’t login any longer to the main site so I tried multiple browsers. Here is where IE9 would let me in but Firefox and Chrome would not. So i then switched it back to Sessions only and i still couldn’t login to my main site through Firefox and Chrome.
Please help, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Edit: did some more testing on other computers and it seems that setting Session Type to Sessions Only will not work in Chrome or Firefox, only IE. Has anyone else experienced this?
