So Please tell me about how much knowledge should I have in CI for 6 month experience.
If Possible please suggest topics in which I should have handson experience.

Are you asking for a way to test your knowledge?

Try developing libraries which may help others or improve other libraries by adding required featured to it.

Build something.
Create one or more of the following:
- Blog
- CMS
- Time Tracker
- Forum
- Facebook Application
- Webshop
- Photo gallery

There’s more, but with these you’ll get in touch with most of the techs out there (RSS, OAuth, APIs…).
