This question may be related to a resolved thread.

Although I have checked the thread, I can confirm that all my add-ons are up to date, including Matrix, yet I am still getting the following error any time I try to create or edit a custom channel field:

An Error Was Encountered
Unable to load the requested file: admin/field_edit.php

I did an upgrade from 2.1.3 to the latest 2.2.2 (Build: 20110801)

Please help me out - I really need to get this site ready for the client ASAP.

thanks,
-m

Hi maodiddy,

Please ensure that you’ve uploaded the latest version of the themes folder to your EE installation. That should take care of the error message you’re seeing here. If not, let me know exactly where you’re seeing this and the full text of the error message.

Hi there.  I just upgraded our site to the 2.2.2 and followed the many instructions given to rectify the error “Unable to load the requested file”.  Unfortunately I’m not getting the fix.  Here is what my error states:

An Error Was Encountered

Unable to load the requested file
content/_assets/glossary_items.php

Any possibilities?  Basically this error is generating when going to add new content from the content-> Publish -> (any channel).

Thanks!

Compass Media,

Can you confirm that this file exists in this location please?

/system/expressionengine/views/content/_assets/glossary_items.php

Do you have Matrix installed? By all accounts upgrading this to most recent version fixes up that error.

Let us know if that is the case
