Ok, I have installed the plugin. Now what is the benefits. Only create a New Project as CI Project? No Auto Complete or load models within the string?

Ok i have installed and its not loading anything. If you guys wondering an easy way. I have created a simple tiny PHP Application that is scan your model folder and create a auto complete file in your project folder. I have tested in Netbeans 7.2, And Its worked perfectly.

Follow the steps…

1. Download the following index.php
  https://docs.google.com/open?id=0B6O2lLwRbtZWWFpOb0dpMnBaYTQ

2. Create a new folder CI_AUTO in your wamp or Xampp folder

3. paste it in your CI_AUTO folder

4. after that open URL http://localhost/CI_AUTO

5. Follow the instruction.

6. If it’s really helpful to you, simply thank me. smile

I have installed this plugin without any problem on Netbeans 7.1.1 and 7.2 , and it does give auto complete. I think it is better to ask ( or maybe help/collaborate wink ) in the project page if you are still having problems

Good work ! The file did give me auto-complete.
But since I am a beginner in both Codeigniter and netbeans, it would be inappropriate for me to Judge your work smile

Hi Guys

I tried installing the plugin on Netbeans 7.1.2 and on 7.2.1 I get the following error:

Some plugins require plugin PHP APIs to be installed.
The plugin PHP APIs is requested in implementation version 201207171143.  The following plugin is affected:       PHP CI Framework

The PHP CI Framework Repository installed without a problem. I’m using the following:

Windows 7 Prof,PHP Plugin Version: 1.37.1 Source: NetBeans IDE 7.2.1 (Build 201210100934)

I also have PHP Plugin Version: 1.27.2 Source: NetBeans IDE 7.1.2 (Build 201204101705)

Thank You

I had the same issue until I download Netbeans(with only PHP support) 7.2 and not 7.2.1. Please try that as well. All the best.
