Hi all,

I’ve made a nifty little plugin for ee1 (will port to ee2 as well if people like it), which is available free on Devot-ee.com at the url below:

http://devot-ee.com/add-ons/power-truncate/

I’d love any feedback that you feel may be relevant, and of course if you think there’s something missing let me know! Should be otherwise fairly self-explanatory.

You can contact me via this topic or on twitter at @CharlieHawker

Enjoy!
Charlie

EE 2.1.1

Great idea but I have hit a snag ... I use it to trim output from a channel entry that was created using WYGWAM plugin. The text I gave it to start with looks like this ....

    <

It outputs ...

"Lorem ip

Also your hint in the plugin description says “Length” is a parameter but shows “Limit” being used in the example.

Oh, sorry to hear you’re having issues. It’s definitely length, I’ve corrected the example, and will release it soon. Could you show me how you’re using the plugin?

Thanks.

Hey guys!

Same as for the other thread (Youtube-ee)

As per our guidelines we request that all third-party support be handled off-forum. It looks like you’ve got this setup for support over on Devot-ee, so that may be your best option for continuing this support.

Thank you!
