Pls bring themes back. Or at least provide us with a dark alternative. I find it quite difficult to keep reading with high white as background. If you don’t want to bring back themes (because of differences) please provide us with a color variation.

I really wants a better spam filter for codeigniter.

A [SOLVED] button would be nice, and some place to see new websites done with CI.

1. stop preventing me from editing a post because it has a link in, when it doesn’t.
2. implement some of the great ideas in this thread.

How about closing a topic three months after the last post.

An automated final post will state words to the effect that:

1. new posts are not allowed
2. possible problems are now [SOLVED] with the latest version
3. recommend starting a new topic with a reference to the old topic

Today an enthusiastic new spammer posted about two dozen times…

... so is it possible to have:

1. Mark as Spam button

2. temporarily hide a post after it has been marked by say a dozen different members

3. when admin is available he/she can delete or reinstate the suspect post

I would suggest to add a section that could be called something like solutions or tricks, where people can place their own problem’s solutions, ideas, tricks,  so everyone else could benefit from them. All current existing sections are more related to post questions, help requests, etc. but nothing like posting our solutions that we often develop in our dayly situations. I would be glad to post mine, and also be very happy of finding ways of solving any problem I could have looking at that sections as first choice before going to post it and wait for and answer.

- a spam filter that works
- a mark-as-read button on the search results (now you have to go back, and risk marking posts that have been placed after the search)
