Fieldstypes in Extensions

Hello,

I’m not sure whether this post is appropriate for the tech support forum. It does involve the general organization of the EE1 extensions.

I am working on a site with EE core 1.6.9 Build: 20100430.

I am attempting to install a couple of third-party extensions (Playa and Structure), and each require that files be stored in the extensions/fieldtypes directory.

None of the versions of EE 1x that I have worked with (both core and full) have a fieldtypes subdirectory within extensions.  Although the instructions are supposed to pertain to EE1x, is it possible that this is a feature of EE2x?

Thanks,
John

John, we don’t offer support for third party add-ons or sites built on the core version. Moving to the Extensions forum for additional community support.

you need to install FieldFrame which is where this fieldtypes directory comes from.
