We hope you enjoy the Deeploy Helper!

Hi Justin,

Sounds like an absolutely fantastic module this one. Don’t know if it’s just me though but I can’t seem to un-compress the file? I am on a borrowed computer so it may just be that the programme that is trying to do this doesn’t work though so I will keep on trying. This one’s going to be great.

Well done.

Best wishes,

Mark

Mark,

When I downloaded it there was a second compressed file inside. I used 7zip to decompress both.

Yes this module is excellent. I have it running on two local sites in development and also on the install running all of my blogs and it’s definitely useful.

I’m glad you’re enjoying the module, or would like to.  Mark, have you had any better luck downloading?  I think the link & file are working OK, but if you can’t get it I definitely want to figure out why.

I need to notify this thread of a recent and important update to the module.  Please replace your earlier version with a new copy downloaded from our site.

Thanks!

Hi Justin,

Got there in the end. Was using my Wife’s computer and I think there is something a little up with her Archive Utility so I will look into that. Had to un-tar it using the Terminal in the end but got there.

Looks great this one. Just wondering what changed in the new version?

Best wishes,

Mark

Mark, glad you got it working.

In the most recent version I added the php function addslashes() to the lines that serialize settings data, which cleared up a bug we ran into with settings that are not editable from the Deeploy Helper interface.

Might take a look at this soon. I want to set up a proper workflow for my sites, and I’d prefer to work locally and then move the site to a remote server where possible.

Steven, you’re the second person today to mention FieldFrame—so yeah, I think we’ll do that.  I’ll post here when it’s in. smile

I’m using it with MSM and the info is unique for each site.
