Member import (xml) error

When I try to import an xml file containing member data I get the following error:

A PHP Error was encountered
Severity: Notice
Message: Undefined property: EE_Loader::$load
Filename: cp/tools_utilities.php
Line Number: 491

Fatal error: Call to a member function helper() on a non-object in /.../public_html/mydomain/system/expressionengine/controllers/cp/tools_utilities.php on line 491

I am running:
EE v2.6.1 - build 20130506
PHP v5.4.10
MySQL v5.1.66-log

Is this a known problem? I haven’t found anything in the forums…

From Core to Licensed Version

We have the Core v2.6 installed, and are trying to upgrade to the license version 2.6.1 which we purchased. We have followed the instructions, but we get an error saying there is an issue in config. What are we doing wrong? We’ve followed the instructions in documentation.

Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

I have a Designer Profile Box on a new site I am working on, this box has text and a link to items by the given designer, however the link needs to send the user to a categories page which displays all the items by the designer.

I’m not sure what tag I should use in the link to show all items by designer. The Designer Profile box is a channel and the designer shown will always be different.

Would I use {category_id} or {entry_id} I need the link to auto link to all items by the given designer.

Confused.

Numerous PHP Errors after 2.6 update

After updating to EE 2.6 a number of pages are throwing PHP errors at me. The error is only displayed for me or anyone else with Super Admin level based on the output and debugging settings. But there concerning enough that I’d like to fix whatever the underlying issue is.

The three errors, which are repeated numerous times depending on the page are as follows:

Severity: Warning
Message: array_keys() expects parameter 1 to be array, null given

Severity: Warning
Message: Invalid argument supplied for foreach()
Filename: relationship_parser/Tree_builder.php
Line Number: 413

Any help on fixing this would be super helpful.

Rich Text Editor - line breaks disappear

I just tried the new Rich Text Editor of ExpressionEngine, but somehow all line breaks (br) disappear on te front-end of the web site. Paragraphs are working fine.

When I click view code in the publish-form, I can see all br’s and p’s looking good. When I view the output HTML on the site, all br-tags seem to be removed.

Any idea what could cause this?

Good Afternoon.

Im very very very new to EE/Cartthrob, so please bare with me if I ask some silly questions.

I have just installed EE2, it worked straight away, I had a little play with a home page and accessing channel information.

I then installed Cartthrob, there was an issue with an internal server error, but it appears ok. I have activated the Cartthrob example store but now all I get on the home page is the following msg

Error

Unable to load requested field type file: ft.rel.php.

Confirm the fieldtype file is located in the expressionengine/third_party/ directory

I spoke to cartthrob and they say this is an EE issue. Has anyone come across this problem or can suggest a course of action to remedy it?

I have not been able to find ‘ft.rel.php’ in the files.

MSM: Customizing error messages per site

I am running an MSM install that drives three sites. I need to customize error messages, which I typically do by modifying variables in the appropriate language file.

However, now I need the error messages to be site-specific.

Site 1: This error has occurred. Follow these instructions.
Site 2: This error has occurred. These instructions are different.

Unfortunately, the language files appear to be tied to the base install and not the site.

Is there any way to have separate language files for each site so I can fully customize the user experience?

I just finished upgrading a client’s site to version 2.6.1. Since doing so I’m unable to edit channel field groups. Every time I try edit a field group I received the following error:

Unable to load requested field type file: ft.rel.php.
Confirm the fieldtype file is located in the expressionengine/third_party/ directory

Logout not working - session id cookie not being cleared?

I’m having trouble with with users being unable to logout. EE v2.6.0.

Clicking logout displays the system “you have successfully logged out” message, but the user remains logged in. It appears not to be clearing the session id cookie - manually clearing the cookie and then logging out works as expected.

I’ve tried setting a cookie domain and cookie prefix in the Cookie Settings administration panel, but it’s made no difference.

Does anyone have any suggestions? I’m going around in circles…

Facebook Multiple Like Buttons / Unique URL’s

Hello,

I’ve been trying to figure out how to have a ‘news feed’ page of entries that allow for Facebook like/send/comments for each entry. I’m getting “The page at http://mysite.com/entry/entry-url could not be reached.”

Here’s my code:

I’ve read about the og:meta tags but am not sure how to do this using EE. Thanks for any help!
