The risk with hiring a person who has nurtured, cared for, and raised a company from nothing into an overachieving team dedicated to non-profits is that it divides the heart.
On the one hand, Kurt Deutscher is the very definition of an ExpressionEngine evangelist, promoting EllisLab every chance he gets. On the other, Kurt’s deeper passion is in helping non-profits and schools thrive online.
After a heart to heart it became clear that Kurt needed NetRaising as much as it needs him, so Kurt is stepping down from his duties at EllisLab. All of us wish Kurt the best as he spearheads NetRaising’s next 100 Sites.
